LifeConnections Onsite Health and Fitness Center delivers a next-generation online and in-office experience for Cisco employees and their families. In addition to providing consultations, the facility also includes a pharmacy and laboratory to enable a complete set of services. Success is measured by the percentage of employees using the center, enabling a reduction in company healthcare costs and an increase in productivity due to fewer sick days.
Our team designed the end-to-end patient experience from scheduling an appointment to visiting with the caregiver to post session follow-up. With a target persona of tech-savvy employees it was important to provide digital patient experience. A website provides the ability to self-schedule an appointment, access medical records, place a pharmacy order or communicate with clinicians. Creating this integrated experience required bringing together services from Relay Health, Cerna, Walgreens and Cisco that typically don’t exist through a single portal.
At the LifeConnections Center advanced technologies are designed to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience. Easy self check-in lets employees walk right to their room and avoid sitting in a waiting room with colleagues. Caregivers can access electronic health records, lab results or supporting information through laptops, mobile devices or displays, to provide flexibility in when and how they access patient information. The facility also supports HealthPresence, high-definition video consultations with those who live a distance from the Center or might be traveling.
