Our Cisco team designed and deployed the first instance of RFID-enabled personalized digital signage in a pilot with Harrah's. The solution, capitalizing on Harrah’s advanced CRM systems, improved the customer experience through delivery of information and services where and when customers need them most. This initiative resulted in the development of Cisco's touch-enabled digital signage solution, and demonstrated Harrah's continued leadership in the delivery of personalized guest experiences.

Harrah’s knew that guests went off property for meals and entertainment, and sought a way to entice them to stay and thus capture more of their spend. Our team’s research revealed that guests often made decisions on where to go in the spur of the moment. This made it an imperative to reach them at the point they were making the decision, which was while they were still on Harrah’s property. By expanding the features of Cisco’s digital signage with touch and RFID readers, guest could approach the information maps located throughout the casino, convention and hotel, tap their room card and receive suggestions for dining and entertainment. Time-based offers and coupons were also built in to the system as added incentive.
